New Year, New Home??

For the past 2 years BF and I have wanted to buy a home, and for some reason or another we have been unable and are still living with his parents – my worst nightmare LOL.

As much as it seems great to live rent free, it really isn’t, because we have no place to truly call our own. I want a place to decorate, to relax, have our friends over since I love having dinner parties, living here makes that a tad difficult...ok who am I kidding it makes it extremely difficult!

Well 2010 is going to be the year we FINALLY take the plunge! Things have been looking good, BF found a great job in his field and I will have almost been at my job a year. We have decided that we will attempt to buy a condo by summer and I could not be more excited! I finally feel like our lives are back on track and we can open a new chapter in our lives...let hope engagement is in that new chapter!

Exited is putting it mildly, we have started collecting/buying items for our new place...as I type this there is a 31 piece pot and pans set in my closet, glasses, serving platters, 21 piece knife set all under the bed! If we don’t move out soon, I will not have any room for anything else! Not to mention what I have stored at my mother’s house.

I cannot wait to start thins new journey, it’s a tad scary but I would not have it any other way and I am so so so happy that I can take this journey with the man I love.
